Summer 2012

Summer is here and for the first time in a while we have some time to take a breath and relax!  Karen gets to enjoy 6 of the next 8 weeks at home and she is looking forward to it.  In addition to updating/remodeling the home office she is preparing for some upcoming fall classes.  “Bloodstain Pattern Analysis for the Bench Level Scientist” is an 8 hour course she will be teaching at the Northwest Association of Forensic Scientists meeting in Missoula Montana.  The course is designed to introduce scientists to BPA and aid them in identifying, documenting and collecting probative samples.  Mock evidence items involving several different substrates will be used as teaching aids and students will benefit from extensive hands-on practice.  Hope to see you there!
